scientific proof of energy healing
An instant, repeatable and verifiable proof of the effect of energy healing? Resolving brain bleeding ( intracranial hemorrhages )
Unproven – or rather not yet proven – does not necessarily mean nonexistent. The day will come when the energy a healer works with can be measured by newly developed devices. Until then, and to end the ongoing discussion whether energy healing is or is not beneficial, Pierre Vreysen has been striving to scientifically prove his gift for years. His challenge to science and medicine is the following:
" In 7 out of 10 fresh - which means the blood is still fluid - and inoperable cases of brain bleeding, the energy we provide will help remove the blood from the brain before it clots and causes permanent paralysis "
A brain scan ( CAT scan ) is the definitive tool for accurate diagnosis of an intracranial hemorrhage. After the doctors have first made every effort to render every possible classical-medical care ( and with all due respect, the possibilities are limited ) and as several hours remain before the blood starts clotting, we only need approximately two hours to do our healing work.
This is an instant, repeatable and verifiable proof of the effect of energy healing.
When, following our treatment another scan is taken, both photos taken prior and after treatment can be compared, avoiding all yes/no discussion ( was it really a hemorrhage or not? ) afterwards. This medical experiment is the only scientific test Pierre is willling to do. Why? After having collected patient testimonials for 20 years Pierre has stopped doing so because they never proved that the positive results were the results of his healing work. It has to be said, most people who come to us are getting extensive classical and often alternative treatments, which always complicates the decision process to come to a decisive answer: which treatment cured what?
Finally a few quotes to provoke thought:
" It is a University’s task to conduct objective research without being biased " ( André Oosterlinck, ex vice-chancellor of K.U.Leuven, Ter Zake, TV1 2002 )
" What we, as scientists, can perceive is always limited by threshold. " ( Gregory Bateson, renowned scientist )
" In fact, the entire knowledge-seeking enterprise is based on taking conventional wisdom and accepted scientific beliefs and shattering them into pieces with new counterintuitive evidence, whether at a micro scale ( every scientific discovery is an attempt to produce a micro-Black Swan ) or at a larger one ( as with Poincare's and Einstein's relativity ). Scientists may be in the business of laughing at their predecessors, but owing to an array of human mental dispositions, few realize that someone will laugh at their beliefs in the ( disappointingly near ) future. In this case, my readers and I are laughing at the present state of social knowledge. These big guns do not see the inevitable overhaul of their work coming, which means that you can usually count on them to be in for a surprise." Request to the medical world
Which hospital or scientific institute is willing to submit Pierre Vreysen’s healing gift to scientific research? Who has kept an open mind with regard to vibrational therapies and does not start from the following dogma:
" Why should a scientist take time to examine a phenomenon which he " knows " does not exist? "
( SKEPP * member Etienne Vermeersch in his article “ Scientific a priori versus the paranormal ”, taken from " Van Antigone tot Dolly " ) * Belgian Association for Skeptical Enquiry of Pseudo-science and the Paranormal )
Is this attitude not a sharp contrast to the following quote from Henri Poincaré ( French mathematician ):
" Thinking must never submit itself, neither to a dogma, nor to a party, nor to a passion, nor to an interest, nor to a preconceived idea, nor to whatever it may be, if not to facts themselves, because, for it, to submit would be to cease to be."TOP
